Vacuum Pumps: Rotary Piston

Vacuum Pumps: Rotary Screw

Vacuum Pumps: Rotary Vane The rotary vane pump contains a rotating cylinder mounted off-axis. The off-axis rotor causes the volume between the vanes and the body to vary during each half turn. The gas inlet port is positioned to increase the volume behind the last vane that passed, allowing gas to expand into it until the next vane passes. The moving rotor then compresses the gas against the final exhaust valve until it exceeds atmospheric pressure forcing open the exhaust valve.

Vacuum Pumps: Rough Rough vacuum pumps generate a vacuum pressure range from approximately 10 - 760 torr. Rough vacuum can be obtained using mechanical pumps, such as rotary vane pumps. This level of vacuum is used in several scientific instruments.

Vacuum Pumps: Used Vacuum pumps provide a wide range of scientific and industrial applications by generating sub-atmospheric pressure ranging from rough vacuum to hyper vacuum conditions.

Valves Valves are mechanical devices that are used to control the volume of flow and pressure of fluids or gases. Closing, opening, or partially opening a passage through which the material passes regulates this flow. They can be electrical or mechanical and are available in many different varieties. Learn about Valves

Valves: Actuated Actuated valves are valves that are automatically moved to the desired position by a device that is mounted on the valve and is powered by an outside pneumatic, electrical, or hydraulic source.
