Company History and Background:
 Whole Shop, Inc. was created from the dreams of an aspiring 42-year-old man with only eight years of formal education. Robert Clark, forced to leave school to help provide for his family in the 8th grade, had a series of jobs that taught him machining and die making skills. He also developed a strong character centered on dependability and honesty. In 1974 Bob decided to start his own little business drilling, tapping and punching holes. He named it The Hole Shop. As the small business grew and diversified he brought his son, Robert Jr. on board. In 1981 they decided to incorporate and change the name to Whole Shop, Inc. Today, with Robert Clark Jr. at the helm, Whole Shop, Inc. is a world away from the little one-man shop started in a back yard garage. Although the company has grown 10-fold, and the technology and capabilities have evolved, the original ideals of dependability and honesty is still the foundation of the company.
