 Torsion Springs

Torsion Springs are usually used over a supporting mandrel. This type is designed to provide resistance to twisting. When under load, the Torsion Spring`s length increases and it`s coil diameter decreases. Torsion Springs can be made with tightly wound coils. They can also be made with loosely wound coils to reduce "squeak" during loading.
 
   
 Extension Springs

Extension Springs provide resistance to axial tension. When loaded, the Extension Spring coil diameter decreases. This type of spring is generally wound with an initial tension and has special ends called hooks for attachment.
 
   
 Compression Springs

Compression Springs provide resistance to axial compression. When loaded, the Compression Spring coil diameter increases. It`s overall shape can be cylindrical, conical, tapered or convex with various spring ends available to enhance performance and meet specific product requirements.
