Slotted (SP): A single-turned rolled pin, formed with one straight parallel slot. Slotted pins are economical and time saving as they can be installed in a single operation. The hollow design and slot give them their unique self-locking capabilities.

Light Duty Coiled (SPC-L): Sometimes referred to as “ spiral pin,” coiled pins are rolled forms made with 2-1/4 turns of steel. The wound design allows stress to be evenly distributed along the entire length of the pin. Light duty pins are made from thinner walled material.

Standard Coiled (SPC): Sometimes referred to as “ spiral pin,” coiled pins are rolled forms made with 2-1/4 turns of steel. The wound design allows stress to be evenly distributed along the entire length of the pin.

Heavy Duty Coiled (SPC-H): Sometimes referred to as “ spiral pin,” coiled pins are rolled forms made with 2-1/4 turns of steel. The wound design allows stress to be evenly distributed along the entire length of the pin. Heavy duty pins are made with thicker material.

Tension Bushing (TB): Tension bushings are manufactured from special high carbon steel with high elasticity, resilience, and wear characteristics. Self-retaining and reusable.

Toothed Rolled Pin (SPT): Staggered teeth with spacing such that teeth are abutted on one side. This alignment minimizes lateral movement, which is desirable in vibratory environments or in an out-of-round hole.

Metric DIN 1481 (SPM): A single-turned rolled pin, formed with one straight parallel slot. Slotted pins are economical and time saving as they can be installed in a single operation. The hollow design and slot give them their unique self-locking capabilities. DIN 1481 has one chamfered end and one straight cut end.

Metric ISO 8752 (SPM-I): A single-turned rolled pin, formed with one straight parallel slot. Slotted pins are economical and time saving as they can be installed in a single operation. The hollow design and slot give them their unique self-locking capabilities. Up to 12mm nominal diameter are chamfered on both ends, pins over 12mm have one end chamfered and one square cut.

Metric ASME B18.8.4M (SPM-A): A single-turned rolled pin, formed with one straight parallel slot. Slotted pins are economical and time saving as they can be installed in a single operation. The hollow design and slot give them their unique self-locking capabilities.

Metric ISO 8750 (SPCM): Sometimes referred to as “ spiral pin,” coiled pins are rolled forms made with 2-1/4 turns of steel. The wound design allows stress to be evenly distributed along the entire length of the pin.

Metric ISO 8748 (SPCM-H): Sometimes referred to as “ spiral pin,” coiled pins are rolled forms made with 2-1/4 turns of steel. The wound design allows stress to be evenly distributed along the entire length of the pin. Heavy duty pins are made with thicker material.

Metric Toothed (SPTM): Staggered teeth with spacing such that teeth are abutted on one side. This alignment minimizes lateral movement, which is desirable in vibratory environments or in an out-of-round hole.
