| | .jpg) | Swaging
Rotary Swaging is generally used to reduce the diameter of tubing and solids or to forge a tube over another tube or solid. Diameters from .020" to 1.0" in tubing and solids can be rotary swaged, overall lengths can vary from 1/4" to 20 feet or more, with a maximum tapered length of 3" in a single pass. The ideal swage angle is 15 degrees included, but angles to 90 degrees included are possible. Most metals can be rotary swaged. | |
