MicroGroup’s EDM department is now bigger, faster and better than ever, due to the recent purchase of one RAM and three WIRE EDM machines. And what’s created the lion’s share of enthusiasm are two new, multi-axis, submersible Charmilles 240SL WIRE EDM’s. Performance highlights include; faster running speeds, closer and more consistent tolerances and the ability to produce complex shapes in one cycle. In addition, tubular parts with thicker wall requirements can be produced more efficiently than ever.
