Large complex shapes from almost any metal becomes a canadate for multiple Deep Drawing steps. Fourteen individual steps were required to achieve the final shape shown here. The external and internal tolerances were .005" without any draft angle. By employing this process the waste material was almost nil, vs. machining this same shape from a solid round, and far less expensive for our customer.

This part ends up over 14" tall manufactured from .050 sheet stock.

Heavy wall stainless parts that were previously made on a screw machine with approximately 80% waste can be drawn in a few steps, with almost no waste, saving our customer a great deal of money.

This part is almost 1.750" tall with a base of 2.00" and a wall thickness of .100".

A few steps in the presses with an anneal process and a final hit completes the shape, followed buy minimal machining.

 AUTOMOTIVE PRODUCTS

Shown in it's eight progressions, is how much of the deep drawn products progress, all beginning from flat sheet metal.

Costs are reduced and the strength and intergity is assured with this process.

In-house tooling manufacture and design result in cost savings for our customers.
