 Custom Fabrication

Included among our numerous services are providing belts with hot molded or cold bonded T-Cleats, corrugated sidewalls, flanges, and Vee-Guides. For vacuum or suction applications, we have the capability of perforating belts up to 50" wide with various hole diameters and patterns. For compression, cushioning, feeding and extruding, special covers can be molded or vulcanized to a belt surface in various thicknesses. For this process, we usually use neoprene sponge, polyurethane foam, gum rubber or Linatex. Our custom services also include the capability to splice widths over the normal 60 to 72 inch wide belt, as well as the ability to provide track and trim services.

 Rounded Braided Belts

Round braided material offers improvement in:

High-speed performance - For dental laboratory and other types of equipment requiring speeds up to 60,000 rpm. Heavier jobs, such as machine tools, use treated or untreated cotton or nylon belts.
Moisture and humidity resistance - In the packaging industry, neoprene rubber treated spun polyester or continuous filament polyester construction resists humidity.
Multi-plane and angle operations - Designs calling for misaligned pulleys or a multi-plane drive, round braided belts with urethane cover treatments offer the abrasion resistance required for improved belt life.
Flexibility - Round belts constructed of cotton and diverse man-made materials offer great flexibility, durability and overall strength.
High temperature resistance - Round belts constructed with NomexĆ aramid fiber can operate successfully in high temperature environments up to 450 degrees F without degradation.

For a variety of uses and adaptability for specific industry needs in medical, check-sorter, textile, polisher, grinder and many other industries, Belting Industries Round Braided Belts are outstanding performers.
