		PSS engineering worked closely with its customer to develop a cost effective method to manufacture a high volume folded fin heat sink, assembled to a base plate to insure maximum heat dissipation. This development allowed our customer to replace an expensive (& heavy) extruded heat sink. The unique positive method of staking, which we were told "Could not be done", eliminated a previously glued method which created rejects at the customer. PSS's custom automation resolved the assembly issues, and provided the customer with a long term solution to their problem at a significant cost savings.
