.jpg) | Stamping • Equipment Our presses range from 30 to 600 tons with a maximum bed size of 144". • Capabilities Our presses have the capability to handle material up to .300" thick and 24" wide. • Variety Simple or complex, we utilize the highest quality class "A" progressive tooling. From large brackets, chassis, terminals and heat-sinks, to small electrical clips and contacts, we do it all. • In-process control Load monitors, electronics feed systems, in-die sensors and Signature Technology assure that the highest standards are maintained. | ||
.jpg) | PSS engineering worked closely with its customer to develop a cost effective method to manufacture a high volume folded fin heat sink, assembled to a base plate to insure maximum heat dissipation. This development allowed our customer to replace an expensive (& heavy) extruded heat sink. The unique positive method of staking, which we were told "Could not be done", eliminated a previously glued method which created rejects at the customer. PSS's custom automation resolved the assembly issues, and provided the customer with a long term solution to their problem at a significant cost savings. Results yield an annual savings of $500,000 to our customer annually! | ||
