 Flexible Tubing - Cilran

Excellent strength
Use with strong acids, alkalies and corrosives

Cilran a new thermoplastic elastomer possessing exceptional physical properties. The chemical resistance of Cilran allows its use with acids, salts, alkalies and water based solutions. Cilran maintains excellent elasticity, elongation, tear strength and low gas permeability throughout the working temperature range of -30º to 225ºF. The high flex factor and outstanding abrasion resistance of Cilran make it a dependable tubing for peristaltic pump applications. Cilran will accept most conventional methods of sterilization. Combining these qualities with low cost, Cilran clearly demonstrates an advantage over silicone and PVC tubing. Translucent in color and available in 50 feet stock lengths, with other sizes, colors and lengths made on request.

 Flexible Tubing - Prothane II

Abrasion resistant
Use with oils and mild solvents

Prothane II a transparent polyester polyurethane tubing that exhibits excellent abrasion resistance, has good low temperature properties and is resistant to ozone and oxidation. Prothane II exhibits an excellent resilience to continous flexing and impacting experienced in peristaltic pumps. The elastic recovery following compression is quite good and allows for a long flex life expectancy in applications such as this. Along with these exceptional features Prothane II exhibits very good hydrolytic stability, good oil and fuel resistance and high tensile and tear strength. Prothane II is resistant to diesel fuel, kerosene, motor oil, mild solvents, dilute acid and alkaline solutions and water and oil slurries. Not recommended with ketones, brake fluid, aliphatic esters, chloronated solvents, aromatic hydrocarbons, gasoline and concentrated acid and alkaline solutions. Light blue in color and is available in 50 feet stock lengths, longer upon request.

 Flexible Tubing - Vytex

General purpose vinyl

Vytex a clear flexible polyvinyl tubing ideal for general purpose usage with dilute aqueous solutions, both acids and alkalies. Suitable for food and beverage usage. Strong acid solutions may be used with Vytex for short intervals, but should be flushed with water after use. The smooth surface allows for easy flushing and cleanup for food and beverage applications. Vytex is a durable, high flex tubing with a Shore "A" durometer of 60 allowing a long life expectancy for continous flexing where peristaltic pumps are used. This provides outstanding flow characteristics. Available in 50 feet stock lengths, longer upon request.

 Flexible Tubing - Povinal

Use for solvents and fuels

Povinal is excellent for aliphatic, aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbon solvents. A polyvinyl alcohol based tubing is ideal for pressures to 20 psi and temperatures of 15º to 125ºF. It has the flexibility and strength for industrial settings where the handling of chemicals is a problem. Povinal has outstanding suitability for industrial applications. This can be attributed to the smooth inner wall which resists the formation of deposits, thus facilitating a free flow of liquid. This tubing is abuse resistant and has a shore "A" drometer of 60-70. Not recommended for use with water or solutions containing concentrations of water. Pump tubing is green in color. Transfer tubing is amber. Available in 50 feet stock lengths, other lengths and sizes can be made upon request.

 Flexible Tubing - E-D Plex

Long flex life, excellent UV resistance
Use with inks, slurries and acids

E-D Plex a thermoplastic rubber tubing that is ideally suited for use with aqueous fluids, acids and bases. Some oil and hydrocarbons will work with E-D Plex , but should be tested before use. Combining the environmental resistance of EPDM with the chemical resistance of Neoprene™, E-D Plex is capable of a wide range of applications. Within its working temperature range of -40º to 190ºF, E-D Plex possesses similar elastomeric performance found in more expensive vulcanized rubber, while still maintaining a high flex fatigue factor. E-D Plex has been proven very successful in peristaltic pump applications where continous flexing is required. E-D Plex is stocked in 50 feet lengths with a Shore "A" durometer of 65. Other sizes, durometers, colors and length can be made upon request.
