were developed to provide pin-point piercing action, where a standard sheet metal screw won’t drive. Designed to pierce 2 sheets of aluminum or light gauge steel, this screw with it’s sharp non-walking point can be used in a variety of applications.
Ideal for awnings, gutters and the H.V.A.C. trade. With the addition of a stainless steel sealing washer these parts are commonly used to fasten sheet to wood framing and studs in farm and industrial metal building applications.
All of Ford’s self-piercing screws have a 1/4” hex washer head. Our #10 diameter screws have a higher head height to guarantee a dependable, positive drive.
To assure added corrosion resistance, we can provide all of our self-piercing screws with our “Ford 500” or “Ford 1000” hour salt spray protective coating. | |
