 BVO - OEM Flowmeters / Switches

The KOBOLD BVO line of flowmeters is aimed at customers demanding low cost without sacrificing the robustness and reliability associated with a top-tier flowmeter.  SM - High Pressure All-Metal Flowmeter & Switch

The SM series devices can be fitted with set point switches triggering on flow rate. These are mounted externally in a protective housing, and are actuated by a magnet in the float.
 
   
 KSM - All Plastic Flowmeter & Switch for Liquids or Gases

The KSM series plastic flowmeter with switch is an excellent choice for applications with aggressive media. There are no metal parts contacting the fluid. Measuring tubes are Nylon or Polysulfone with other wetted parts made of PVDF, PVC and EPDM.
 
   
 KDV - High Accuracy Glass Tube Rotameter

The KDV series are high quality glass tube variable-area flowmeters (rotameters).
The KDV also is ideal for industrial and sanitary applications. The standard model is available with NPT threaded or flanged connections. Polished finishes and Tri-Clamp fittings for food and pharmaceutical applications are available.
 
   
 KDM - All Metal Variable Area Flowmeters / Switches / Counters

The KDM variable area flow meter is ideal for difficult applications requiring high pressure operation or low pressure loss. Its all metal, armored design is available in stainless steel, PTFE clad stainless steel, or Hastelloy C4. In standard configuration, the KDM is a purely mechanical meter. However, electronic limit switches or an analog flow transmitter may be added if so desired.
 
   
 VKG - Viscosity Compensating Flowmeter & Switch

KOBOLD flowmeter and switches type VKG 6000, VKG 7000, and VKG 8000 fill an important gap in the high viscosity media measurement field. Using KOBOLD’s patented viscosity compensation system, these instruments are insensitive to viscosity and density changes during operation.  KSR/SVN - Low Volume Flow Switch for Liquids or Gases

Flow switch types KSR and SVN operate on the same principle as a float-type flow indicator. Type SVN utilizes a proximity switch which transmits a signal to an amplifying relay as the switch passes by the float. This causes a signaling, or switching, sequence to be triggered as chosen by the user. Type KSR contains a magnet in its float.

 KFF/KFG - Low Volume Turbine Wheel Flowmeters

KOBOLD KFF/KFG Flow Sensors can measure very low flow rates. They are suitable for a wide variety of industrial, commercial and laboratory flow applications involving media transparent to the near-infrared spectrum. The flow sensor uses a Pelton-type turbine wheel and photodiodes to generate an electrical signal linearly proportional to flow rate.

 RCD - Differential Pressure Flowmeters

The RCD series differential pressure flowmeter measures flows of liquids and compressed gases using the orifice principle. The orifice, located in the flow body, generates a differential pressure which varies with flowrate. The differential pressure is applied to a measuring bellows.

 KDG/KDF - Low Volume Glass Tube Flowmeter

 KDP - Miniature Armored Flowmeter & Switch

 KDK - Low Volume / All-Metal Flowmeter

The KOBOLD KDK flowmeter functions at pressures up to 1850 PSIG. Its armored design includes an integral needle valve (also good to 1850 PSIG) for control of both liquid and gas flows. The 316 series stainless steel and PTFE/PFA gasket components are compatible with a large variety of process media. Up to two switches are available to provide process control capability.
 
   
 KSK - Plastic Flowmeters and Switches

The KOBOLD KSK plastic flowmeters/ flow switches operate on the basis of the well known variable area principle. The medium flows upward through a conically widening plastic measuring tube. The float is lifted by the flowing medium and indicates the instantaneous flow rate on the scale attached to the flowmeter. The KSK series is all plastic with bodies made of nylon Polysulfone or PVDF to handle aggressive media.
 
   
 SWK - Flowmeters and Switches

KOBOLD flow meters and switches of model SWK operate on the known suspended float principle, however without the use of a conical measuring tube. The SWK series is compact and can be mounted in any orientation. Model SWK flow switches are ideally suited for monitoring low flows in applications where low cost and high reliability are critical.
 
   
 SV - Float Type Flowmeters & Switches

KOBOLD SV flowmeters and switches work on the well known float system, but without the use of the open conical measuring tube. Instead the instruments use a cylindrical control tube with a conical groove along its axis. The upper edge of the float indicates the flow on the measuring glass, which is calibrated in GPM or SCFM.
 
   
 DRH - Rotating Vane Flowmeters

The KOBOLD DRH series paddle flow sensor offers the variety of seven material combinations, allowing the DRH to stand up to virtually any liquid or aggressive chemical. The DRH is a compact flow sensor which employs permanent magnets embedded in a rotating paddle wheel.

KOBOLD model DWU, DWS and DWP flow meters and switches are based on the paddle, or static plate, principle. This type of arrangement is ideal for use in applications where dirt and solid grain contaminant are of concern. The paddle-bellows arrangement offers large internal clearances and mechanical insensitivity to a wide range of particulate matter.
 
   
 EDM - Turbine Wheel Flowmeters for Liquids
