We offer local solutions in aluminum extrusion, fabrication, and finishing backed by the global capabilities and resources our parent company, Hydro Aluminium, Europe's leading extruder. For nearly 50 years we have been extruding, fabricating, and finishing custom extrusions in North America. We offer a wide spectrum of services from eight strategically located plants. What separates us from other aluminum companies is our leadership in extrusion technology, the strength of our metal sourcing network, the breadth of our engineering and manufacturing experience, local empowerment of our plant personnel, and implementation of "best practice" procedures. The extruded aluminum components we produce must help our customers manufacture and sell their products. Our North America extrusion network includes 8 plants with 23 presses ranging in size from 7" to 12". This network gives us flexibility to assign projects to the best qualified plant when specific expertise is required or additional capacity is needed. We use a cold drawn process that reduces diameters, wall thickness and cross sectional areas to yield a tube with higher mechanical properties and superior ductility. Through rigid manufacturing standards, Hydro further guarantees quality product. Our specialty tube mills utilize automated drawing, handling and straightening equipment that ensure tighter tolerance control, enhanced product performance and superior surfaces. | ||
