.jpg) | Pneumatic Blending Air blending is one of the quickest, cleanest and most efficient methods of achieving homogeneous batches of powdered, granular or abrasive materials in transporters, atmospheric bins and storage silos. NOL-TEC's technologically advanced pneumatic blender is comprised of a casting and six (Model 244) or twelve (Model 277) removable aeration valve assemblies, which are mounted in a circular pattern around the casting. When the aeration valves are pulsed, gentle blasts of compressed air are injected into the center of the unblended material at various angles, lifting the material upward and outward. Optimize the blending action by adjusting the on/off duration, air pressure and pulse frequency. Because there are no moving parts in the product contact area, the blender has a long service life and requires minimal maintenance. The aerators are accessible from outside the blender and can be quickly and easily replaced or repaired on-site.
