 014A

The 014A Wind Speed Sensor is a general purpose anemometer suitable for use in a variety of applications. The 014A is an accurate and durable 0-100 mph anemometer with a threshold of 1.0 mph. The sensor is a continuous duty measurement tool designed for long-term unattended operation in adverse environments. A sealed magnetic reed switch produces a series of contact closures at a rate proportional to wind speed. An aluminum cup assembly with a distance constant of less than 15 feet is normally supplied.

 03101

The 03101 Anemometer is for applications that need only wind speed measurements, not wind direction measurements. This cup anemometer accurately measures wind speed. The small size, simplicity, and rugged construction provide a quality instrument for a modest price. The sensor interfaces directly with Campbell dataloggers; no signal conditioning is required.

 03001

The Wind Sentry Anemometer accurately measures wind speed. The small size, simplicity, and rugged construction provide a quality instrument for a modest price. This sensor interfaces directly with Campbell dataloggers; no signal conditioning is required.

 034B

The 034B Windset combines a 3-cup anemometer and vane into a single integrated package. The 034B is constructed of lightweight aluminum and is designed for continuous long-term operation.

 05103

The wind monitors are lightweight instruments that measure wind speed and wind direction. Manufactured by R. M. Young, the wind monitors are cabled for use with our dataloggers. The wind monitors' design emphasizes simplicity and lightweight construction. They are made out of rigid UV-stabilized thermoplastic with stainless steel and anodized aluminum fittings. The thermoplastic material resists corrosion from sea-air environments and atmospheric pollutants. The wind monitors use stainless-steel, precision-grade ball bearings.

 05106

The 05106 Wind Monitor-MA is a robust instrument designed for offshore and marine applications. It features waterproof bearing lubricant and a sealed, heavy-duty cable pigtail instead of the standard junction box.

 05305

The 05305 Wind Monitor-AQ is a high-performance wind-speed and wind-direction sensor designed specifically for air-quality measurements. It provides a lower starting threshold, faster response, and higher accuracy than the other wind monitors. However, to achieve the superior performance, the 05305 is less ruggedly constructed. The Wind Monitor-AQ meets or exceeds the requirements published by the following regulatory agencies: U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Agency, and American Nuclear Society.

 WindSonic4

The WindSonic4, manufactured by Gill Instruments Ltd., is a two-dimensional ultrasonic anemometer for measuring wind direction and speed. The WindSonic is an alternative to traditional mechanical cup and vane or propeller and vane anemometers. Unlike mechanical anemometers, there are no moving parts to be replaced periodically, minimizing routine maintenance costs.

 WindSonic1

The WindSonic1, manufactured by Gill Instruments Ltd., is a two-dimensional ultrasonic anemometer for measuring wind direction and speed. The WindSonic is an alternative to traditional mechanical cup and vane or propeller and vane anemometers. Unlike mechanical anemometers, there are no moving parts to be replaced periodically, minimizing routine maintenance costs.

 CSAT3

The CSAT3 is a three-dimensional sonic anemometer. It measures wind speed and the speed of sound on three nonorthogonal axes. From these measurements, orthogonal wind speed and sonic temperature can be computed. The CSAT is used in eddy covariance applications to measure the turbulent fluctuations of horizontal and vertical wind. From the turbulent wind fluctuations, momentum flux and friction velocity can be calculated. The CSAT3 can also be used to measure average horizontal wind speed and direction.
