 Mechanical Feeders - Recycling Industry

Low-horsepower, high-capacity mechanical feeders handle bulk materials in volumes up to 2250tph (2040mtph). Low-profile, requires minimum headroom. Simple, stable, variable controller. Wide variety of trough sizes and types available.

 HVF Low-Profile Mechanical Vibratory Feeders

Eriez' HVF Mechanical Feeders are available in nine models with capacities to 2000 tons (1820 MT) per hour*.

These low-profile, rugged machines move high volumes of bulk material reliably and economically. Their compact design allows for more room around equipment, smaller tunnels under stockpiles and easier installation.

The straight-forward design of the HVF series incorporates a standard three phase motor mounted within the base. It is connected by belt to the factory set variable-pitch sheave which drives the eccentric shaft at approximately 1100 RPM. The vibratory motion created by the shaft is amplified by the polyisoprene springs to which the tray is connected.

HVF feeders utilize “off-the-shelf“ variable frequency controls to adjust feeder output. Signal following capability is standard. Conrols come standard in a NEMA 12 enclosure for dustry environments, with other enclosures available.

• Capacity is based on sand weighing 100 pounds per cubic ft. (1.6 metric tons per cubic meter)

 Ultra Force Mechanical Feeders

Eriez' Heavy Duty Ultra Force Mechanical Feeders are available in eleven models with capacities to 2500 tons (2267 MT) per hour*.

The long stroke and low frequency of these rugged machines move high volumes of bulk material reliably and economically. Tray sizes up to 96 inch (243 cm) wide and 144 inch (365 cm) long are available. Special sizes can also be provided.

Ultra Force™ Feeders utilize optimized steel-coil drive springs for unmatched efficiency and performance. These units are ideal for high temperature applications where elastomeric drive springs cannot perform.

Ultra Force™ Feeders utiliize “off-the-shelf“ variable frequency controls to adjust feeder output. Signal following capability is standard. Controls come standard in a NEMA 12 enclosure for dusty environments, with other enclosures available.
