Coated foils are foils usually made from aluminum or brass where one side of the foil is coated with any plastic material. The side with the foil may or may not contain an adhesive. These foils are utilized extensively in innumerable applications such as linings for ducts, conduits and paint spray booths; covers for heat-sealing jaws, covers for laboratory tables and work stations, in addition to serving the general purposes of confection and decoration. Generally referred to as metal leaves, these foils are available in myriad shades.
