A rolled pin is a hollow, press-fit, tube-style fastener that is cylindrical in shape with chamfered ends. They are availed of as positioning points, locking devices, anti-chafing surfaces, sleeves or shafts for wiring. Slotted pins are also referred to as spring pins or roll pins. Coiled rolled pins are occasionally identified as spiral pins. Toothed rolled pin is the most significant classification under this class of pins, which features staggered teeth with interstices so maintained that the teeth are contiguous on one side.
