The seal-less pump is used when there is a need to contain toxic, dangerous or valuable fluids. Application may be dictated by space, noise, environment, or safety regulations. The power required by the driven shaft is transmitted through a containment barrier, either the "canned motor pump" containment barrier method or "magnetic drive pump" containment method barrier. These methods prevent loss of media through the drive system. Learn more about sealless pumps.
