Thermoformed plastic is a form of plastic manufactured by thermoforming, also generally known as thermoplastic. When softened by heat, the plastic becomes subtle enough to be shaped into any form; the shaping process is accomplished through pressing, molding or extrusion. Plastics of this type are versatile and can be used in several customized applications. The food packaging sector is a major user of such plastics, which can be attributed to their pliability to rapidly merge into any desired shape necessary for packaging. Soda bottles and milk jugs are some examples of such plastics.
