The wet dust collector is a compact pollution control unit designed for trapping sinkable and wettable contaminants. Water is added so that the dust particles are captured. The dust particles are eliminated by the collector's centrifugal action. Pollutants that do not float on water are captured as wet sludge and contaminant-free air is emanated into the surroundings. Applications of wet dust collectors include pollution control benches, buffing or polishing and hand grinding stations.
