Avago Technologies Expands Family of Next-Generation SFP+ Transceiver Products for 10Gbps Ethernet Equipment Designs   Circuit Breakers Protect 24 V DC Load Circuits in Hazardous and Non-Hazardous Environments
Avago Technologies, today announced the expansion of its family of SFP+ optical transceiver modules for next-generation 10Gbps Ethernet equipment designs. The new additions include a 1310 nm LRM multimode fiber transceiver, and transceivers for both LR single mode fiber and SR multimode fiber applications with extended temperature capability for enterprise and data center applications. Avago is a leading supplier of analog interface components for communications, industrial and consumer applications.   MIDDLETOWN, Pa. - Phoenix Contact's new EC-E electronic circuit breakers selectively protect load circuits connected to a 24 V DC power supply. The EC-E combines active electronic current limiting for short-circuit conditions and overload shutdown, ensuring that the circuit breaker responds to fault conditions faster than the power supply. Rated for both hazardous and non-hazardous environments, the EC-E has a current limitation of 1.3 to 1.8 times the rated current of the circuit protector. Emerson Acquisition Strengthens PlantWeb Digital Plant Architecture   Rexroth's New TS 5 Assembly Conveyor Transports Loads up to 660 lb.
AUSTIN, TX - Emerson has acquired epro GmbH of Gronau, Germany to enhance the expertise and resources of Emerson Process Management, a global automation and asset management leader. Kiva Systems Chosen by Walgreens to Double Distribution Center Capacity   KUKA Systems Applies Dassault Systèmes DELMIA Automation to Plant Engineering
