Emerson's Smart Wireless Technology Enables Online Filter Monitoring to Avoid Downtime at INEOS Köln GmbH   Rohm and Haas and AIXTRON Announce Installation of VaporStation Central Delivery System
AUSTIN, TEXAS -- Emerson Process Management's ‘Smart Wireless' technology is enabling INEOS to monitor filters within polyethylene pellet transportation tubes. Blockages to the filters can lead to production downtime at its plant in Cologne, Germany. The polyethylene pellets are “blown” through the transportation tubes using compressed air. The incoming air is filtered to prevent any pollution of final product. The filters become blocked over time and lose their efficiency, which in turn affects the quality of the end product.   NORTH ANDOVER, Mass., & AACHEN, Germany--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Rohm and Haas Electronic Materials and AIXTRON AG announced today that a VaporStation central delivery system has been installed and is now operational at the AIXTRON Applications and Demonstration Center. AIXTRON, a leading manufacturer of metalorganic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD) equipment, is using the VaporStation central delivery system to deliver trimethylgallium (TMGa) to a CRIUS and a Planetary MOCVD system. More MOCVD systems are expected to be connected to the VaporStation central delivery system at its new location in Aachen, Germany.

Storch's New Electro-Magnetic, Power Matrix Chuck Offers Extreme Holding Force   New Parker P1/PD Pump Torque Limiter Provides Horsepower Control for Mobile and Industrial Applications
Livonia MI- Storch Magnetics introduced its new Electro-Magnetic, Power Matrix Chuck that offers up to 132 tons of holding force per square foot for all types of machining applications. Storch Magnetics is an Eclipse Magnetics authorized reseller. With extreme holding force, these chucks allow milling on five faces for high metal removal rates while eliminating vises and h-clamps for faster part setup. Because of their unique design, Power Matrix chucks offer multipoint clamping for all types of unusually designed parts including round, stepped or shaped ones. Parts can be mounted directly to the chuck's face or for odd shaped ones, steel mounting blocks can be used that allow the magnetism to flow through them for positive part holding.   MARYSVILLE, OH,– Parker Hannifin, the global leader in motion and control technologies, has introduced an optional torque limiter for 45 - 140 cc/rev model P1/PD series pumps to benefit customers who need automatic torque limiting for their mobile and industrial applications. This allows the use of smaller prime movers, resulting in more efficient use of fuel or electricity. “The torque limiter adjusts flow in the circuit to keep the prime mover from stalling under heavy loads,” said Peter Medins, marketing product manager, Parker Hannifin Corporation, Hydraulic Pump Division.
