| | Nov 12, 2013 — DEERFIELD, Ill. - The Board of Directors of Baxter International Inc. (NYSE:BAX) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.49 per Baxter common share. The dividend is payable on January 3, 2014 to shareholders of record as of December 6, 2013.
Earlier this year, Baxter increased its dividend by nine percent, following a 34 percent increase in the dividend rate that the company implemented last year.
"Through our disciplined capital allocation strategy, we continue to balance re-investment for growth with returning meaningful value to our investors," said Robert J. Hombach, chief financial officer.
