| Mar 6, 2008 — Asahi/America, Inc., introduces the Fast Pack, the newest concept in valve automation. Asahi/America has prepackaged over 125 of their most popular valve and actuator combinations in easy to order configurations. Packages feature Asahi Series 92 or 94 electric actuators or Series 79 pneumatic actuators mounted on Asahi Type 21 PVC Ball Valves or Type 57 PVC Butterfly Valves. Ideally suited for industrial applications featuring harsh media environments, packages are available in ½” to 4” in ball valves and 1-1/2” to 8” in butterfly valves. The most compelling feature of these new offerings is that Asahi/America ships every one of these assembled packages in 24hrs from time the order is received. All packages are assembled at Asahi/America’s Malden, MA headquarters. Electric Ball Valve Packages include: UL-508 listed Series 94 or 92 Electric Actuator, 120 vac, Open/Close, Nema 4X, 5 sec cycle time, 2 end of travel and 2 extra limit switches, manual override, factory mount and test to ½” – 2" combo or 2-1/2" – 3" Socket T-21 ball valve. Pneumatic Ball Valve Packages include: Series 79 Glass Filled Polyamide Air to Air or Air to Spring pneumatic actuator, factory mount and tested to ½” – 2" combo or 2-1/2" – 4" Socket T-21 ball valve. Electric Butterfly Valve Packages include: UL-508 listed Series 94 or 92 Electric Actuator, 120 vac, Open/Close, Nema 4X, 5 sec cycle time, 2 end of travel and 2 extra limit switches, manual override, factory mount and tested to T-57 butterfly valve. Pneumatic Butterfly Valve Packages include: Series 79 Glass Filled Polyamide Air to Air or Air to Spring pneumatic actuator 1-1/2" – 6", Aluminum actuator size 8", factory mount and tested to T-57 butterfly valve.
