Miniature Teardrop High Temperature Accelerometer, Model 3310A

Press Release:
Aug 18, 2010 — Chatsworth, CA – Dytran Instruments, Inc. has introduced a new high-temperature sensor, model 3310A, which is a low-profile, charge mode accelerometer that was designed for use in Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) and mechanical shock testing applications where size and temperature range are critical.

Model 3310A weighs just 1.8 grams and has an upper temperature range of +500°F (+260°C), making it unique in both size and operating temperature. The 3310A utilizes a Lithium Niobate (LiNbO3) sensing element, which ensures greater temperature stability over a wider temperature range.

Designed in a lightweight titanium packaging, model 3310A also features a miniature teardrop design, base isolation and hermetic sealing for reliable operation in high-humidity environments. With a sensitivity of 1.2 pC/g and adhesive mount, the 3310A has a special Dytran designed 3-56 coaxial connector which mates with a replaceable cable, model 6003A03 (supplied). This coaxial cable has a 10-32 coaxial jack at the end.

The 3310A is also ideal for PC board vibration measurements, product response testing, and general purpose high-temperature vibration measurements where space is at a premium.
