Experienced sales professional will provide responsiveness and flexibility
WARWICK, RI–ATW Companies, a leading provider of engineered metal manufacturing solutions, announces that it has promoted Karl E. Hoffman to Sales Manager of the A.T. Wall sales team. In this role, he will be responsible for supporting the development of A.T. Wall’s sales and marketing processes by leveraging his technical background and market knowledge. Mr. Hoffman has served asthe Account Executive for ATW’S Metalform product line since January 2013, and will transition his skill for customer communications into this new role.
The Warwick, RI-based Metalform division produces the largest selection of high quality, steel replacement 1911 magazines in the world.When he first came to Metalform, Mr. Hoffman supported manufacturing and sales of Metalform’s gun magazines, providing an effective interface between ATW and its firearm enthusiast customers. He worked very closely with John McCarthy, the former owner of Metalform, to transition all customer activities from the external control of Mr. McCarthy to his own internal control.
Mr. Hoffman became the point of contact for all customer communications, including sales order entry, delivery updates, RMAs, new product reviews, DCNs, and more. His professional, detail-oriented approach impressed ATW’s customers, and he was soon promoted to Account Executive. Mr. Hoffman also assumed a leadership role on the Metalform Stragetic Initiative, contributing to the development of the company and his coworkers. He has recently completed his M.S. in Professional Politics at Suffolk University.
“Mr. Hoffman has been a real asset to the Metalform division,” said Tracy MacNeil, ATW’s Chief Strategy Officer. “As an NRA firearms instructor, Range Safety officer, and Certified Referee, he brought a rare combination of knowledge and enthusiasm that was invaluable to our gun magazine customers. As a salesman, he brought an attentive manner and an eye for detail that will help the A.T. Wall sales team to improve and expand.”
