Bonded Abrasives

Bonded abrasives are composed of abrasive grains held together in a glass, rubber, resin or other bonding medium. Metal and fiberglass may also be employed. These abrasives are used in grinding wheels, stones and sticks of various shapes and sizes. Bonded abrasives are used to remove surface materials and can be used for grinding and cutting, depending on type of grit employed.
