Deep Drawing Companies
Deep drawing is a metal forming operation performed on sheet metal, by pinning down the edges of the sheet metal blank and then forcing the middle section into a die by using a punch. This action forces the center of the blank to stretch and to take the shape of the punch and corresponding die, forming a drawn part. A drawn part is considered to be deep drawn, when the depth of the part exceeds the smallest dimension of the opening. These deep drawn parts can be rectangular, square, circular, or any cross section desired. Deep drawn parts are used in various industries and applications, including utensils, aircraft components, and automotive body parts.
