Diaphragm pumps employ a single diaphragm in a chamber to move liquids. The liquids are moved by the displacement resulting from the movement of the diaphragm. The diaphragm itself is moved by a piston, either through a direct attachment or through a hydraulic connection. One-way valves insure the positive flow of the liquid. These pumps are quite often found in industrial applications. Learn more about diaphragm pumps.
