Die cut gaskets are mechanical seals manufactured in high volume by a die-cutting process, which employs sharp, slender blades called dies to carve out different shapes from different materials. Gaskets of this type are ring-shaped and are mostly made of materials, usually rubber, which can be cut before assembly. To prevent substance seepage, these gaskets are seated between the object components. They serve as excellent sealants and are mostly preferred for their precision low tolerance.
