Flexible metal hoses are fluid transportation pipes, conveying fluids to the intended destination. They are hollow flexible metal tubes, generally cylindrical in shape, and are generally referred to as pipes or tubing. Hoses of this type are usually recommended for applications such as unloading stations, jump-over connections, and minimization of moments and force that are being transferred to vessels from the piping. Chemicals such as sulfur or asphalt, which are tough to handle can be conveyed easily through these hoses. These hoses are accompanied with a stainless steel braid covering to tackle (or accommodate) the corrugated hose’s increased pressure rating.
