Multi-Stage Centrifugal Blowers

Multi-Stage centrifugal blowers are devices used to provide a variable flow at a constant pressure. This centrifugal blower consists a vertically-split casing and impellers made of aluminum or steel mounted upon a common shaft located within the casing, and at least a pair of oil-enclosing bearing housings to support the rotors; this housing is furnished with an integral gearbox that exists as a part of the blower casing in order to increase the rotational speed of the impeller. The performance characteristics of these blowers generate a variable flow and power at a constant speed.
