Neoprene gaskets are flexible and highly durable seals used for sealing joints that are prone to movements. These gaskets exhibit more heat resistance than rubber gaskets and do not succumb by softening as the latter on severe exposure. Furthermore, they are more resistant to ozone, sunlight and oxidation than natural rubber. These gaskets are common in weatherproofing, gastight sealing applications, as well as in applications where closed cell, durable and flexible gaskets are required, or where movement is expected.
