Vertical pumps are pumps driven by vertical electric motors or horizontal engines with right angle gears containing one or more bowls. They are equipped with radial flow, modified radial flow, mixed flow or axial flow impellers. The pumps are designed for multi-staging. The driver is mounted either on the discharge head, directly to the bowl assembly, below the bowl assembly or in a horizontal configuration.
