| Our primary business is contract machining of automatic screw machine parts and CNC turning and milling, though we do have a variety of other equipment. Brown & Sharpe work has been our stock and trade for many years. At left, a machinist with Brown & Sharpe No. 2 automatic. As such we work mostly with bar stock, though we also buy and process castings, forgings, powdered metal and MIM parts. Our work ranges in size from parts so small parts that there may be hundreds in a handful to parts that are too large or too heavy to be manhandled. Turning work from bars generally runs between 1/8" and 4-1/2" in diameter and our flat work is typically between 0.1 and 10-pounds/piece. However, we frequently work with parts both larger and smaller than these generalizations imply. We have experience with almost all types of machinable metals and non-metals. |
