One of the leading concerns in landfill operation is the management of leachate water. Leachate is produced when water comes in contact with trash and percolates through to the cell floor. As the water passes through the trash the water picks up numerous contaminants, it is imperative that this water be directed to a central point for collection and treatment.

In order to collect leachate water most landfills have an intricate series of pipes above the liner system to facilitate this. These pipes direct leachate water to a sump area for collection and pump out. Leachate is then sent an onsite treatment facility, storage tank, or holding pond, where it will then be treated and discharged.

Hallaton, Inc. offers a wide variety of piping materials to meet your toughest job requirements. Our factory trained technicians are well versed in the use of state of the art pipe fusion machines. Our fusion experts can fuse from 2" pipe all the up to 48" pipe.
