• Mullite: More resistant to thermal shock than high alumina with good resistance to corrosive attack.

• Fused Silica: Excellent thermal shock resistance and high temperature volume stability.

• Clay Bonded Silicon Carbide: Recommended for applications requiring high strength, resistance to abrasion, high thermal conductivity and thermal cycling
