| | MagX is a pioneer in the field of flexible magnetic sheeting. Since 1965 MagX has been the highest quality materials using an exclusive T-die extrusion process. Over 40 years ago, when we started working on our product design we determined the only way to insure the flatness and homogeneity of the media was by extruding the product. That is why we insist on extruding versus calendaring. Extruding builds quality in from the beginning. The extruding produces requires a homogenous mixture therefore a more consistent magnetic force across the material. Also extrusion produces a "flatter" surface.
Because our sheeting is so flat we have opened up the world of Direct Digital Printing (DDP) to magnetic sheeting. We have asked many wide format printer companies and plotter/cutter manufactures to test DDP to our media and the consistent comment we receive is: "This is the best material we have ever seen. It lays flat, it is extremely flexible, has a nice printing coat and cuts cleanly." | |
