 PCTFE (PolyChloroTriFluoroEthylene)
PolyChloroTriFluoroEthylene, abbreviated PCTFE, is a fluorocarbon-based polymer offering excellent electrical properties, chemical resistance, nonflammability, and near zero moisture absorption. With a useful temperature range of -400°F to +400°F (-240 to +204°C) and an outgassing of 0.01% TML, 0.00% CVCM, 0.00% WVR when tested per ASTM E-595-90, PCTFE is the only thermoplastic fluoropolymer with these characteristics that is also suitable for aerospace applications.

 TORLON (PolyAmide-Imide)
Chemically a polyamide-imide (PAI), Torlon is a reaction product of trimellitic anhydride and aromatic diamines. Torlon demonstrates exceptional thermal stability due to the combination of aromatic groups and amide linkages alternating with imide linkage. This property also contributes to Torlon‘s flexibility and toughness generating exceptional toughness.

 ULTEM ( PolyEtherImide)
Ultem an amorphous polymer offering continuous performance upto 340°F (170°C). With excellent resistance to flame and heat, Ultem ideal for high strength/high heat applications, as well as applications requiring consistent dielectric properties over a wide frequency range. Ultem is also resistant to hydrolysis, highly resistant to acidic solutions, and capable of withstanding repeated autoclaving cycles.

 PEEK (PolyEtherEtherKetone)
PEEK (PolyEtherEther-Ketone) is a high performance engineering thermoplastic offering the same chemical and water resistance as PPS (PolyPhenylene Sulfide), but can withstand greater temperatures. PEEK can be continuously used in water or steam without permoenant loos in physical properties to a temperature of 480°F (250°C). Since 1998, unfilled Peek has been approved by the FDA and can be used as a high strength alternative to fluoropolymers for hostile environments. Carrying a V-0 flammability rating, Peek exhibits low smoke/toxic gas emission when exposed to open flame.

 PVDF (PolyVinyliDene Fluoride)
Polyvinylidene Difluoride (PVDF) is a highly non-reactive and pure thermoplastic fluoropolymer generally used in applications requiring purity, strength, and resistance to solvents, acids, bases and heat and low smoke generation. PVDF provides a relatively low melting point and density (1.78). Common uses are in the chemical, semiconductor, medical and defense industries, as well as in lithium ion batteries. A fine powder grade is used as the principal ingredient of high-end paints for metals, providing an extremely good gloss and color retention.

 NORYL
A modified Polyphenylene Oxide - Styrene (PPO), Noryl exhibits unusually low moisture absorption, provides excellent insulating properties and dimensional stability over a wide range of humidity and temperature. Thus Noryl exhibits electrical insulating properties and long-term dimensional stability. This alloy composition also makes Noryl one of the few non-metallic materials that can be electroplasted. Noyl also has superior impact strength, is light-weight, and is hydrolytically stable. It may be used continuously at temperatures in excess of 220°F. To enhanced mechanical and thermal performance, glass fiber fill may be added.
