| | At SpeedTech, we specialize in pipe insulation products. Until SpeedWrap was invented, the pipe insulation industry had been a stagnant, resting on technology and products that are almost a century old. SpeedWrap Original brought a brand new product to the market, giving our customers an easy to install small bore pipe insulation option that no longer required permanent insulation to be installed on pipes and fittings.
Soon our customers discovered that SpeedWrap also worked great for other applications. Safety managers bought SpeedWrap for burn protection. SpeedWrap's flexibility allowed for it to be an ideal solution to insulate flexible lines. The low profile and easy installation allowed SpeedWrap to work great in tight spaces where there may not be room for traditional pipe insulation, or traditional pipe insulation would just be too difficult to install.
With the introduction of SpeedWrap ES, SpeedTech was able to expand its product line by being able to offer extreme insulating properties in a product that was a slim 1/4" thick. Having many of the characteristics that made the Original SpeedWrap popular, SpeedTech now had a pipe insulation product that could be used in harsher conditions and/or conditions that required the expanded insulation properties of SpeedWrap ES. | |
