 HYDRAULIC PRESSES

A hydraulic press generally does not achieve the high cycling speeds of a similar-sized mechanical press but offers more versatility by providing variable stroke length, die space and pressure. The hydraulic press is often the best choice when producing parts that have deep, complex forms or that require a lot of material flow. Tanks, cylinders, bowls or any parts that require a dwell at the bottom of the stroke are often run on hydraulic presses.

 C-FRAME PRESSES

Stamtec/Dees C-frame hydraulic presses are ideal for a wide variety of small parts work, including stamping, forming and assembly. With full working energy and full tonnage at any point in the stroke, as well as stroke speed variability throughout the stroke, the C-frame hydraulic press provides a number of advantages when forming steel and plastic components. With an open die area, parts can be easily fed by hand, or the feed can be automated and integrated with the press.

Press Highlights
  • Sturdy, with a steel-welded frame and built-in hydraulic power pack.
  • Easy to install and operate.
  • Highly efficient.
  • Can be used for a variety of functions including bending, straightening, pressing, coining, assembling, riveting and molding.

 4-POST HYDRAULIC PRESSES

Stamtec/Dees four-post hydraulic presses can be engineered with custom bed sizes to suit a wide variety of large or small parts work, including stamping, forming and assembly. With full working energy and full tonnage at any point in the stroke, as well as stroke speed variability throughout the stroke, the four-post hydraulic press provides a number of advantages when forming steel and plastic components. With an open die area, parts can be easily fed by hand, or the feed can be automated and integrated with the press.

The Dees four-post press is designed so that all pipes, flanges and joints are vibration resistant and leak proof. Ram and cushion tonnages are adjustable via a pressure regulator and the slide is equipped with easily accessible change points. Slide and bolster tables are available with T-slots and U-slots. Overload protection is also available.

Stamtec presses can be customized to meet a wider range of SPM, stroke, rating point (BDC), bed and other specifications and dimensions.

Press Highlights
  • All pipes, flanges and joints are vibration resistant and leak proof.
  • Equipped with adjustable ram and cushion tonnage.
  • Slide and bolster tables with T-shaped or U-shaped slots are available.
  • Speed can be varied when running on full-load or no-load.

 STRAIGHT-SIDE HYDRAULIC PRESSES

Stamtec/Dees straight side hydraulic presses can be customized with a bed size to suit a wide variety of large or small parts work, including stamping, forming and assembly. With full working energy and full tonnage at any point in the stroke, as well as stroke speed variability throughout the stroke, the straight side hydraulic press provides a number of advantages when forming steel and plastic components. The heavy straight side frame makes this press ideal for jobs requiring lower stretch and deflection in the press frame and bed.

HD Series
