.jpg) | Webb-Stiles Chain Conveyors Chain/Slat/Roller Flight/Fixture Webb-Stiles designs and builds a wide variety of chain conveyors. Multistrand chain conveyors are used in all types of manufacturing, assembly and material handling operations. Some common chain types are: • Drag chain: The chain is in frictional contact with the track, and the load rides on the chain. This style is suitable for moving light loads over short distances. • Rolling chain: Roller friction is used either in the chain roller supporting the load, or a Block chain supported on rollers. • Pusher chain: The chain does not support the load. It propels it either on a slider bed or on a roller bed. The most common chain conveyor types are SLAT, ROLLER FLIGHT, CHAIN and FIXTURE. Webb-Stiles chain conveyors are all custom engineered to the job. WEBB-STILES Conveyor Chain Webb-Stiles carries a variety of standard conveyor chains. We manufacture this conveyor chain and build to order. Attachments for mounting slats, or fixtures can be specified as the job requires. .gif) | Conveyor Rolls Webb-Stiles carries ten standard roll sizes with capacities from 75 to 4000 pounds. These are available in any length and quantity as listed below. All rolls are available as pre-engineered components. They are also used in our gravity and live roller conveyors. All Webb-Stiles conveyor rolls shown are manufactured, by us, to the quality highest standards and have been proven reliable in thousands of installations. All standard rollers feature hexagon shafts in rolls of 1" to 3-1/2". These rollers are furnished with spring loaded shafts that can be quickly installed or removed from the conveyor frame by simple pressure on the end of the shaft (with no special tools required). All Webb-Stiles conveyor rolls are furnished with bearings specifically engineered for conveyor service. Free-running type bearings are normally used in gravity conveyors. Grease-packed, sealed for life bearings, are usually used in live roller conveyors. Precision bearings are used on roller sizes for heavy-duty and special applications. Webb-Stiles can also quote other bearing requests as options. | ||||||||
