| Aug 4, 2011 — Griffin is seeking a highly motivated person for the position of Sales Representative at our New Jersey, Texas, South Florida, Connecticut, Virginia, Nebraska, Indiana, and Southern California locations to solicit sales and rentals to contractors, municipalities and industrial accounts for a complete line of dewatering pumps, equipment, accessories and turn-key contract services. The Sales Representative builds relationships by partnering with our customers and providing ongoing support in the areas of equipment operation and proper maintenance. Our Sales Representatives stay ahead of industry trends and keep customers and potential customers educated on Griffin’s full line of pumps, dewatering equipment and turn-key contract services. Griffin has an established reputation as the premier manufacturer of dewatering pumps, equipment and accessories currently in use around the world. Griffin Pump is regarded as having the some of the most rugged and reliable dewatering equipment in the industry. • Solicit sales and rentals of Griffin dewatering pumps, equipment and accessories to Contractors, Municipalities and industrial accounts. • Coordinate rentals and sales through their location, supplying all instructions and documentation necessary to enable supporting departments to deliver, invoice and contract information. • Meet with the customer to instruct on proper operation and use of equipment. • Visit job sites and customers on a regular basis to meet with the customers and inspect the equipment condition and operation. • This position does require travel in the field. • Must have a clean driving record and a clean criminal record. • General knowledge of pumps, construction, industrial, mining or petrochemical sales/rental of equipment a plus. • Will consider recent college graduates who are willing to learn the business at entry level. Degrees in Construction, Civil Engineering, Management, or Industrial Distribution are preferred.
