Butterfly Valves

The butterfly valve is a quarter-turn valve which has a circular disk as its closing element, with the valve stem running through the disk, giving a symmetrical appearance. Types range from inexpensive resilient seats to metal seats used in high temperature environments and zero leakage designs.
