Pushing down on the cam handle pulls the lower jaw upward. This clamps the workpiece against the stationary upper jaw, whose bottom surface is ground for precise location. The hinged mounting pad bolts to the fixture with two socket-head cap screws. Four-prong knob provides a firm grip for applications requiring quick tightening and high torque.
