 Liquid Low Flow Meters

Rheotherm® flow meters for low liquid flow reliably measure low flow rates with unique nonintrusive, no-moving-parts sensor designs. These instruments have been used in numerous applications for more than three decades. They have been used for critical measurements in chemical, aerospace, water/wastewater, power generation, and nuclear applications, to name a few of the industries Intek serves.

Flow rates from a few GPM down to 1 gallon/year, in hazardous and non-hazardous locations, can be accurately measured. Visit our web site or contact our sales engineering team to learn more.

 Gas Low Flow Meters

Intek offers a combination of nonintrusive in-line and insertion probe flow sensors for measuring gas flow rates in line sizes from 1/16" tubing to 2 ft. or larger pipes and ducts. Rheotherm® meters have been in use for over three decades in hazardous and nonhazardous gas mass flow applications.

Air and Gas Duct Flow Meters

Rheotherm® flow sensing probes for duct gases are easy to install and provide long-term service with little or no maintenance. They can be used to measure the flow of air and most other non-condensing gases, including corrosive and explosive gases. Common uses include vent air, stack gas and digester gas.

 Hazardous Location Operation

Rheotherm® flow meters and flow switches can be installed in hazardous areas using Intek's proprietary, FM approved intrinsically safe barrier. With the sensor installed in the hazardous location, the electronics and the ISB can be located either in a non-hazardous remote area, or within the hazardous area if installed in a NEMA 7 explosion-proof housing. A purged enclosure may also be used in some areas.

With these options, Rheotherm flow meters and flow switches are suitable for operation in the following types of hazardous locations:
  • Class I, Division 1, Groups A, B, C, and D
  • Class II, Division 1, Groups E, F, and G
  • Class III, Division 1
