 Mass Flow Meters

Rheotherm® mass flow meters for liquid or gas flow reliably measure low flow rates with unique nonintrusive, no-moving-parts sensor designs. These instruments have been used in numerous applications for more than three decades. They have been used for critical measurements in chemical, aerospace, water/wastewater, and nuclear applications, to name a few of the industries Intek serves.

Flow rates from a few GPM down to 1 gallon/year, in hazardous and non-hazardous locations, can be accurately measured. Visit our web site or contact our sales engineering team to learn more.

 Mass Flow Multi-Sensor Probe

The RheoVac® multi-sensor probe (MSP) incorporates an assembly of four primary sensors that measure flow, temperature, pressure, and relative saturation. Only RheoVac instruments utilize a relative saturation sensor to directly measure water vapor content within the fluid mixture from power plant condensers and air content in vacuum drying applications.

In applications requiring the use of a vacuum system where water vapor content is critical (e.g., chemical drying, condensers) the RheoVac system can provide real-time data on the following process parameters:
  • Water vapor flow: the rate at which moisture is being removed
  • Air flow: the rate at which air is removed from the system
  • Pressure: the level of vacuum actually being achieved.
  • Total mass flow and actual volumetric flow: actual operating effectiveness of the vacuum equipment to remove gas and water vapor in comparison with the vacuum pump's performance curves.
  • Relative saturation: percent moisture content in the vacuum line.
