| |  SBMM is a rubber molding company located in Mishawaka, Indiana. We were founded in 1942 and for the past 50 years custom molded rubber parts have been our only products. Our business is based on giving our customers what they want, on time, and with total dedication.
We are able to offer our customers a wide range of molding options and technical assistance in the selection of materials, part design, and tooling design. Our management team and technical staff have many years of experience supplying rubber parts to a wide variety of industries. This expertise has allowed us to save our customers a significant amount of money when they have let us participate in the development process.
Our entire operation moved into a new modernized facility in June 1998. The old factory had a mere 20,000 square feet on 2 acres of land and we had outgrown it. Our customers were asking us to take on new business, but we were restricted by the lack of space. The new facility has 100,000 square feet of floor space on 9 acres of land allowing future growth if needed. The size and configuration of the new building allowed us to design our ideal layout and simply set it in place.
The new factory will allow us to expand our molding capacity and take on new rubber applications and assemblies that our customers need. Our new facility also has an in house machine shop which allows us to get repairs and alterations done in a very timely and efficient fashion. This will also greatly enhance our ability to make prototype molds under the supervision of our expert staff.
